I've been so excited about the imminent publication of KILLER OF KILLERS, I'd almost forgotten just how great THE VASE is. And now that I've been focusing on it while awaiting the ARC of KOK, it just keeps getting better and better.
I suppose I shouldn't act like it's all that, but you know what? It is. I'm not a better writer than anyone else out there, but like anyone else who puts in a tremendous amount of time and effort to make something better and better, it happened. KOK got better and better over five years, and the same thing is true for THE VASE.
There is no secret formula, no secret password, no magic words, and no incantation. It's all about hard work. And the more you work on something, the better it gets. That's what has happened with KILLER OF KILLERS and THE VASE. That's all.
