Final Week of Sumer Vacation

This is it. The last week of Summer vacation. After this week, teachers must report. But I usually go back to work the week before that, which means that I'll be returning to work this week. I have two classrooms to prepare. One for sculpture and one for drawing.

I have two rooms because any ceramics teacher can tell you that you don't want to "live" in a ceramics classroom. It gets mighty dirty in there. And dusty. And I'm a clean-type person. I clean, clean, clean, get the kids to clean, too, and then clean some more. The custodians at my school love me. I do most of their job for them. My rooms are typically cleaner, (and by that I mean much cleaner) than the average classroom.

But setting up at the beginning of the year is another thing altogether. I spend a good bit of time putting everything away at the end of the year, and now I have to get it all back out. So maybe I'll go back tomorrow. No. Maybe Tuesday. Yeah. Tuesday.
