Second Chance at 14,000 Words

My fifth novel, in progress, is now at 14,000 words. I don't usually make a note every time I write another 1,000 words, but since I'm writing this novel part time, it is a milestone of sorts. Editing Killer Eyes is the more full time endeavor, and writing the first draft of Second Chance is what I do in my spare time. And that's why it's such an accomplishment when I get another thousand words written.

Be that as it may, my goal is to have the first draft of Second Chance completed by May. And I fully expect to have Killer Eyes published by then. Which will give me full time to finish the revisions to John Dunn. By the end of next summer I expect to be submitting John Dunn somewhere, and then finishing the revisions to Second Chance. So that's the plan. We'll see how it goes.
