Besides all of that, my final ARC came Sunday morning, and it was flawless. Absolutely flawless. That means no typos. Even though everyone seems to admit that typos are inevitable, I can say, at least for now, that KILLER OF KILLERS has no typos.
There is one spot that somehow got changed, but it's not a typo. One of the lines in there was supposed to be italicized, and I discovered that it wasn't, but I figure no one will even be able to tell which line it is. So I'm not gonna tell. BUT, I will award anyone who can find that line a free book. Either eBook or print. Their choice.
So as things go, I can't be more happy about how well the book turned out. I'll be getting my first print book, (the advance Print Proof copy) in about a week. It will be the first time I will be able to hold in my hands a book that I wrote.
And what a book. I have no qualms in admitting what I think of that book. It's my favorite book of all time. My favorite character of all time. And it's my favorite story of all time. Yeah, so I'm biased, so what? That doesn't matter. What matters is that KILLER OF KILLERS is the greatest martial arts book ever written. Hands down. And kudos to Melange Books for recognizing that and publishing it. That's one great publisher there. And I have no problem saying that either.
