Man, I just put in three hours of revising what I had already written. Normally I wouldn't put such an effort in revisions so early, but when I redirected my plot at this point, I had to go back and make the build up to it fit. Otherwise it would have been how is all that happening in New York when Trent Smith was in Los Angeles? I had to go back and change three prior chapters to make it so that the events in the story didn't conflict. Very important. Without consistency and logic, you lose your readers. Don't want that to happen. It won't make editors happy, either.
